How to practice English (speaking, writing, reading and listening) online

Why we should learn English?

Don't you think learning the most widely used language is a very good thing? English helps us to access a vast amount of knowledge and information from all around the world.

It is very helpful for traveling and communicating with new people. Having good English language skills will open up a lot of opportunities in your career.

How can I learn English online for free?

There are lots of platforms that provide free and quality services. It isn't enough that you only consume data's it is essential to practice verbally. So I am going to suggest to you some platforms where you can practice your English with other people, and together you can be a fluent speaker.

Before that always keep in mind that you need to participate every day because the services I am going to say about will be 100% fruitful if and only if you participate otherwise it wouldn't be fruitful.

1. Fee4talk

Free4talk is a website where a lot of people create groups to talks about different topics. Not only English, you can learn any language over there. It is a completely free service, you don't need to pay anything. You just need to have a Google account or any other email. That's it you are ready to use this platform for improving your English skill.

Join any group available there or create your own group, you can limit the number of members you want to talk with, the admin can also terminate anyone. Basically, you have full control over your group if you are the group creator. So don't waste your time and try this service today. Good luck

2. Hallo

In terms of English learning, the Hallo application plays an awesome role. There are teachers friends from many different countries. You can talk with them. There is also a live feature available, you can go live or can watch. To talk, you have to click on instamatch, and you will be connected with someone. It is free to talk with friends, but it will cost you if you wish to talk with teachers. In my opinion talking with friends is enough. People are kind of thinking that hallo only provides services to paid/premium customers, but it is not completely true. If you are a free user you can access many features and I think it's enough for someone if just want to practice and just want to try it out so go ahead and try it.

3. Telegram

To practice English, Telegram is a good platform, just join some voice chat English practice groups and start practising through voice chat. Make sure you have put these groups in mute otherwise you can't handle their notifications. I will personally recommend not to join overcrowded groups as it is kind of annoying, so try to join some less crowded groups where you will feel comfortable for conversation. Make sure you are participating in those groups so that you can build your confidence.

Well, for your convince I am putting some telegram group IDs below where you can join to practice English, just go to telegram and search for these groups and join which is suitable for you or you can search by yourself for different groups.

Some extra helping things

  • Listen to the podcasts, watch movies or online videos in which you are interested or which are very useful for you.
  • It's very important to stay motivated and excited during, especially during your learning journey.
  • Practice every single day - In order to get fluency quickly, you need to practice every day. If you skip some days, probably you will get less/no progress.
  • Work on your pronunciation - good and clear pronunciation will help others to understand you better.
  • Learning words isn't enough, you need to apply them practically.
